Programme

Programme

The format for both days will be similar, starting the day with our coffee morning and an academic talk session followed by our poster and demonstration session and lunch. In the afternoon, we will have two further academic talk sessions with a refreshment break between. In addition, on Thursday, we hope to continue conversations over informal drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be provided). Further information about session types can be found below:

  • Academic talks:
Across each day, we will have three 90-minute sessions, in which each presenter has 30 minutes for their chosen talk and questions. Each session will feature different speakers. See the speaker page for more information on each of our speakers and the contributions page for thier specfic talks. Please note we have given complete academic rein on each talk, so the content may differ slightly on the day!
  • Poster presentation and sensory demonstration session:
Each day will feature a 45-minute session for our poster presenters and demonstrators. These will be the same on both days to give you plenty of time to see everything and will be just before lunch to give you the perfect opportunity to carry conversations over some food! These will be a mix of traditional poster presentations and interactive sensory demonstrations (with self-led options), as sometimes nothing can quite share an idea like trying it yourself! See the contributions page for our current list of presenters, but please note these are still being updated!

Note due to overseas travel and clashes with other events, some speakers will be delivering their talks live but remotely. This is indicated in the programme below by (remote) next to their name.
